About Me
Isabel Torok is a BFA student at Marymount Manhattan College in New York City studying Dance with a concentration in Choreography, as well as an Arts Management minor. This is a great space to share her journey in the world of dance and choreography, along with her artistic vision and unique approach to movement and storytelling.
Choreographic and Performance Experience
2022-Present
Since moving to NYC in 2022 to pursue a career in dance and choreography, Isabel has performed works by Tami Stronach, Nathan Trice, and Dolly Sfeir.
Isabel has presented work at the student Works in Progress (WIP) showing at Marymount. Most recently, she created her first piece for the student choreography show Dancers at Work, titled Girls Behind Lace.

Marymount Manhattan College
Isabel is pursuing her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a specialization in Dance and Choreography, as well as an Arts Management minor, immersing herself in a dynamic learning environment and refining her artistic craft. She has trained in modern dance with Nancy Lushington, Karen Gayle, and Lone Larsen; ballet with Francoise Pender, Suzie Goldman, and Kim Craven; Hip Hop with Jazelynn Goudy; West African with Andrea Markus; and Afro-Latin Jazz with Sekou McMiller. Isabel has also taken two semesters of dance composition with Elisabeth Motley.

G-Force Dance Company
At G-Force Dance Company, Isabel received comprehensive training in various dance forms, laying the foundation for her future pursuits in the world of dance and choreography. She danced competitively but found her passion for dancing through attending dance conventions throughout the U.S.
